As Kenya continues to work towards realizing the vision 2030, there has been a cry for the need of youth empowerment. This is not only because the youth make up 60% of the country’s population, but also because the youth are indeed innovative, energetic and open-minded, and these together with the wisdom, knowledge and experience of the older generation are key ingredients to Kenya realizing her dream- the Kenya Vision 2030.
It is in light of this that The Chiromo Environmental Awareness Club (CEAC) in conjunction with The GPYC (Global Peace Youth Corps) held an interactive youth empowerment forum based on the theme-‘The Role of the Youth in Realizing the Kenyan Dream’ on 15th of December at Hotel Kipepeo.
