prize presentation ceremony

The 2nd prize presentation ceremony was held on Friday May 7th 2021. The ceremony recognized 448 former best overall students for the Academic year 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 cohort.

The theme for this year’s event was “Celebrating Academic Excellence”. The support of 104 donors saw the awardees get various cash prizes and trophy’s.

Speaking on behalf of Donors, a representative from Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund, Hirji Shah spoke saying, ‘We are here to acknowledge and award excellent academic performance to our students. The prize winners are a true representation of everything that we stand for. These hardworking young Kenyans are a credit to the University. It is through them we get to see the achievement and dedication of the staff of UoN.’

A former Valedictorian from cbps Amitoj Shah who was interviewed prior to the event encouraged the students” I would encourage all students to pursue their studies with the same level of passion and commitment that got them into this reputable university. Your time at the university will be one of your founding blocks to success. I truly believe that if you want to be great at something, then you must give it your all. As Walt Disney once said “All our dreams can come true- if we have the courage to pursue them.” You must listen to that little voice inside you that says, “I can do this” and believe in yourself. Don’t forget to have fun while you are at it!
