There was pomp and color during the 68th graduation ceremony held at the iconic Taifa hall on 16th Dec 2022. Graduation marks a milepost in the lives of student. It is a serious yet joyful event it is not just a day for the graduates to feel proud of themselves; it is a day for friends and family to be proud and celebrate

The African Climate & Environment Centre - Future African Savannas (AFAS) held a two day workshop in Nairobi on ‘Co-designing science-policy- practice interfaces (SPPIs) to support nature-based solutions (Nbs) in Africa's Savanna regions’.
The University of Nairobi’s Annual Research Week for the Faculty of Science and Technology was one for the books. The virtual conference that began on the 26th of October 2022, themed ‘Emerging Research and Technologies for Sustainable Development in Society’ was attended by doyens in the science and technology industry, all of whom have greatly contributed to the sustainability of technology for the continuous growth of society.

This year, Kenya will be joining the Global Community in marking the 10th International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week of Action (ILLPWA), between the 23rd and the 29th of October 2022 under the leadership of UNEP and the World Health Organization.
The focus this year’s is Enhancing Efforts Towards the Elimination of Lead Paints
The conference will feature powerful key note speakers who will speak on various topics in line with the 2022 Research week theme ' Emerging Research and Technology for Sustainable Development in Society
