chinese scholarship beneficiaries
Two students from the Faculty have been awarded the Chinese Ambassador scholarship. The beneficiaries are from the department of chemistry and department of Mathematics.
Speaking during the award ceremony the Vice Chancellor Prof. Kiama noted the fund has benefited over 179 needy students since it was introduced in 2013. He further noted the scholarship has transformed students from needy backgrounds to study by paying University fees for them
A total of 24 students from the 11 faculties received the Scholarships.
