1258 Students Admitted to FST 2021/2022 Academic Year

A total of 1258 students were admitted at the faculty for the academic year 2021/2022 to pursue different courses offered by the different departments at the faculty.

Speaking during the orientation the Dean, Prof. Francis Mulaa welcomed the students to Chiromo campus.  ‘’welcome to the most beautiful campus.  I would like to congratulate you on your success in your recent exams and in gaining a place to study here’’. The dean noted the courses are challenging and he advised the freshers to take full advantage of the opportunities available in order to succeed in the courses

The dean also noted FST degrees are recognized worldwide and opens up to numerous careers for the graduates. He also encouraged the students to set their master plan early and strive to pass all the mandatory subjects to enable them graduate after the four years.

FST Also known as Chiromo Campus is a paramount Faculty that is known as a hub for knowledge and innovation since its inception. The faculty has also produced two vice presidents; the late Prof. George Saitoti and the current Deputy president. Hon. William Ruto.

The students were also encouraged to take care of their health and to also visit the student health facility to get the covid-19 vaccination.

The new students will undergo a one week intensive orientation program to familiarize themselves with all the platforms and facilities at the University
