The Commission has published provisional students’ voters’ nominal rolls in the University’s website in line with schedule 3 of the Rules and Regulations Governing Student Elections, 2017.
The purpose of this announcement is to direct that all students do inspect and verify their details as captured in the provisional nominal rolls from Monday, October 26, 2020 to Sunday, November 1, 2020.
IUCEA hereby invites the citizens of the East African Community to apply for cohort 2 of the KfW- funded Scholarships, to pursue Master’s studies in the EAC Partner State other than their own.
Thematic areas: 1) Mathematics, 2) Engineering, 3) Informatics, 4) Science, 5) Technology, and 6) Business Science. Eligible applicants: Nationals of the East African Community (EAC) Partner States (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda).

Prof. Jacob Midiwo will on Friday 16th October deliver a keynote address on The kenyan higher plant diversity: a potential source of anti-parasitic compunds of neglected tropical diseases.
Dr. Edwin Dindi will on Thursday 15th October deliver a keynote presentation on: Kenya Rift Valley: tectonic Setting, natural resources, hazards and hazards mitigation.
On Wednesday 14th October, the Keynote Speaker for the day will be Prof. Laban. A. Ogallo. He will deliver a presentation on : 'Water, Agriculture and food security challenges under changing weather and climate threats'

The University held its first virtual graduation on 26th September 2020. 2851 graduands were conferred with degrees and awarded diplomas during the celebration.
The Chancellor Dr. Vijoo Rattansi awarded diplomas to 367 graduands, 2045 Bachelor Degree Awards, 15 Postgraduate Diploma Awards, 370 Master Degree Awards and 54 Doctor of Philosophy Degree Awards
This Conference, hosted by CBPS, from 14th-16th October will be held within the auspices of University of Nairobi Research week in October 2020, aims to discuss new ideas following advances in sciences and indicate how these can become good socio-economic practices which steer activities for attainment sustainable development goals and visions.
